Naked Bits

Naked Bits is a curated line of adult puzzles I co-founded with designer Nicole Robinson, featuring images and stories from different decades that highlight the evolution of society's views on sexuality and nudity.

The concept started with a simple but provocative question: what happens when you pair the most innocent of pastimes with the most taboo of topics? From there we built everything from scratch — the name, the identity, the packaging system, the voice, and the strategy for how to bring it to market.

Together we led the creative direction and design end to end, sourcing imagery from archives and contemporary artists, writing all the copy, and designing packaging that could hold its own on a shelf while winking at what was inside. We launched on Kickstarter, where Naked Bits was featured as a Project We Love on the homepage.

Every issue is built around imagery that is spirited, compositionally compelling, and most importantly has a story to tell. Images and moments from different decades that open up conversation about how society’s views on sexuality, identity, and the body have evolved over time.
